Without a doubt the best 8 iron I've ever hit. Love the feed back! I know when I've hit it on the screws. Last year I purchased clubs with the new technology. Large head, wide soles! Good shots and bad shots both felt bad, like I was hitting the ball with a block of wood. Certainly, the shots were good but terrible feel. Also, with the wide soles it was impossible to chip from tight lies around the green. With this 8 iron and the narrow sole, chipping from tight lies is wonderful. I would prefer less bounce for these shots. I can however, de-loft the club to eliminate the bounce. With the high tech club it was almost impossible to hit out of deep rough. With the smaller head and narrow sole this 8 iron allows me to dig the ball out of deep rough. Since purchasing this club I have added more to my bag. Great club! Sweet!Read full review

Got this club to replace my 23 year old Ping Zing pitching wedge. No improvement in distance and much more of a metallic feel and "click" which I do not like at all. I'm working with it to see if I can find the sweet spot so it doesn't sting my fingers. From the reviews I read before buying it, I thought this club would hit about the same distance as my old Ping pitching wedge, since there is only 2° less loft, but it doesn't. The TaylorMade M2 line is touted for "distance, height, and forgiveness". The height is good for the loft but the distance and forgiveness are not there for me, although the distance may come with practice.

This club has helped me get out of trouble in some many ways. The swing weight is perfect. Club head design (#4 22-degrees) gets the ball up and out of high roughs. And I hit it straight! I would recommend to any golfer to help in those tough recovery shots.

Had read about his club and decided to upgrade my 3wood. Club is comfortable and easy to hit as a driver and or fairway wood.

I've just started to really get acquainted with this club. I've now spent several hours on the driving range trying to get comfortable and consistent with it. Now, I'm no great golfer, but I'm consistently hitting this 140-165 yards. For me that's amazing! I attribute my success to the amazing RocketBladez design and feel. Thanks for another winner TaylorMade!
